The Return of Warrenmang's Classic Estate Chardonnay

A Cause for Celebration!  Warrenmang's most popular white wine has returned after 10 years of sustained drought in the Pyrenees has come to an end.

Handpicked from 2 different blocks at optimum ripeness, this wine was gently pressed, barrel fermented ( 23% new French oak ) with wild yeast then matured in oak for 11 months. The wine has a complex aroma of melons and is bursting with classical Pyrenees peach and apricot flavours, intertwined with a rich full palate from extended yeast lees contact while in barrel. A sweet softness carries the delicate fruit right through into a complex back palate where there is a harmonious balance of fruit, subtle oak and a nutty creaminess.
